BUSINESS ARCHITECT and MOTIVATOR

Peter has a passion for business and business people. Having started an accounting and advisory firm in 2001 he has ‘walked in the shoes’ of business people. Peter understands the pressures, challenges, excitement and success that developing a vision, creating a plan and driving processes can bring.

Peter was born in Dubbo, raised in Mildura, and completed an economics degree in Adelaide, graduating in 1992. He commenced at Charles & Partners straight after university as a Tax Accountant and built up a solid reputation as Taxation Adviser. He left Charles and Partners in 2001 and founded Southern Cross Business Advisers as a sole practitioner.

Peter’s areas of expertise include Business Planning, Continuous Improvement Strategies, Strategic Planning, Workshops and Client Planning Days. His role in the business is to develop Continuous Improvement Strategies for the farms and farm business including:
-         Business Planning & Management of Operations
-         Investor liaison
-         Strategic Planning

Peter’s journey over the last 10 years has been one of constant learning. Whether from the connections with Mindshop International, reading, attending conferences or listening to successful people he believes that constant improvement is a way of life.

Peter is also involved in many community organisations. This includes being a member for the finance committee of the Mildura Specialist School, Director of Mildura Airports Pty  Ltd and Board member of MASP. Additionally, he is co-founder of the Kokoda Youth Leadership Program. He is also a coach of  2 football teams in his spare time.

Peter is married to Andrea and has three children; Jack, Will and Kate.
